.; Gothic; West Rose- The Last JudgmentDeremble-Mahnes no. 143, Delaporte no. 176.Panel 34: The Damned A large horned devil, naked except for a loincloth, stands at left. It has a brown body and a large green animal-like head. It turns and holds the arm of the foremost member of a group of four or more damned souls at right. It also uses a fork-like implement to hold the leg of the foremost figure. The damned are naked except for a few draped cloths (shrouds?) They make gestures of despair and try to be trying to escape toward the right.Compare devils to those in panels 32 and 36.; West Rose- The Last Judgement
