Gothic; The Virgin and Child (arms of Bar-Loupe) Window Deremble-Manhes no. 113B, Delaporte no. 134North Choir ClerestoryAt the bottom of this window is a shield with the arms of Bar-Loupe- azure semé of crosslets or, two barbells addorsed or overall (the arms of Bar); impaling gules two annulets of in saltire (arms of Loupy). Possibly a relative of Regnault de Mouçon, bishop of Chartres (Delaporte, p. 486) or Regnault himself (Corpus vitrearum II, 38).Above is a monumenal figure of the Virgin and Child. Mary is crowned and haloed, above her head, a dove with crossed halo (the Holy Spirit). She holds a flowered scepter in one hand. On her lap sits the Christ Child (crossed halo), holding a book in one hand and making a gesture of blessing with the other.7.03 by 2.21 metersRestored by Lorin in 1920.
