Paul’s haloed body lies at the bottom of the panel. On either side, a lion approaches- both lions have manes. In the background is a hooded man pressing his hand to his cheek. He has no halo. Delaporte says this is Anthony and the missing halo an oversight on the part the artists.; The Anthony Abbot and Paul the Hermit Window
