The woman (haloed) faces toward the right and lifts her hands in a gesture of prayer. This may be Modesta.Compare with martyrdoms in the Catherine and Margaret Window. Also, compare with base of statue of St. Modesta on the North Parch, right portal.Panel 22: A magistrate (right)A magistrate, wearing a round cap and holding a scepter, sits at right on an elevated chair.
