An angel appeared, the fire went out, and the lead became cool.Pantaleon (naked, haloed, and tonsured) is at center, standing in a large vat of hot lead standing on a frame. Underneath it are flames which are being encouraged by a man kneeling at left with a large bellows. Another man stands at right, prodding the fire with a long stick.
