Historiated; Gothic; North Porch, Left On either side of the capital stands a grotesque creature. In the background is stylized foliage. There are three historiated capitals in the inner part of the left part of this porch. They all feature dragon-like creatures with snouted heads, birdlike bodies with two feet and wings, and long, reptilian tails. The meaning of these capitals is unclear. They many be related to the grotesque creatures which peer out of the trefoils on the base of an adjacent pier.; North Porch, Left
