Description
Thyrsa Wealhtheow Amos, seated on the right, was the Dean of Women from 1919 until the time of her death on May 5, 1941. Helen Poole Rush, seated center, would be named as Dean of Women at the time of Dean Amos' death. Dean Rush would go on to become the first woman in Pitt's history to be appointed Vice Chancellor.
