Description
Joseph G. discusses working for a traveling carnival in the years between leaving home and settling in Homestead. Working for a landlord in Homestead, but quitting soon after. Hearing about the influx of workers for the steel mills and deciding to get a job in a mill as well. Dangerous working conditions in the mill. Working as a relief man and foreman, leadership positions in the mill.
