Description
Charles Sorber became Dean of the School of Engineering on July 1, 1986. Under Dean Sorber, the school grew its programs in manufacturing systems, bioengineering, and environmental engineering. He resigned at the end of the 1992/1993 academic year to become president of the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
