His head is bowed, His eyes are closed, and His torso and abdomen sways to the left. There is a nail through each foot (this is a Byzantine convention- most western Crucifixion scenes have one nail through both feet).The Virgin Mary stands to the left and St. John stands to the right.; The Passion of Christ Window
