Description
Gothic; The Prodigal Son Window Delaporte no. 58, Deremble-Manhes no. 35Panel 21: A servant brings garments to the prodigal son (Luke 15:22)At left is a man holding a pile of garments. The hem of his cloak trails behind him (to show he is hurrying?). Another man stands at right. At extreme right is the door of a house. It is difficult to tell which figure is the prodigal son. On one hand, the figure to the left wears garments most like those in panels 16 and 17. On the other hand, it is more likely that a servant would be hurrying to bring new garments than the son.; The Prodigal Son Window
