Gothic; The Belle Verrière WindowDelaporte no. 14, Deremble-Manhes no. 30aPanel 18-Angel with censorAn angel (haloed, barefooted, multi-colored wings) kneels looking at the Virgin and Child (Panels 21-4) The angel is under a round arch -above is a dome flanked by towers and surrounded by a crenellated wall. The angel swings an ornate gold incense burner and holds a dish of incense. The censor swings into panel 23 beside the Virgin’s head. The censer is supported by three ropes, which appear to be of small white circles (pearls?) which are similar to those that appear on the edge of Mary’s halo.; The Belle Verrière Window
