Gothic; The Zodiac and Labors of the Months Window- Delaporte no. 17, Deremble-Manhes no. 28a Panel 15 Labor of June - MowingA man cuts a field of green vegetation (hay) with a scythe. He wears a bowl-shaped hat (to protect against the sun). His over-garment is caught up in his belt and the legs of his undergarment are slit, leaving his feet and his shins bare. At right is a hammer-shaped object (a type of whetstone) and a yellow bucket-shaped object. Some of the pieces of glass at the bottom of the panel are blue rather than green? (a restoration? The differential effect of aging on different batches of glass ?)There is an inscription IVLIVS [sic].
