Gothic; The Chéron WindowDelaporte no. 42, Deremble-Manhes no. 15Panel 16: The translations of Chéron’s relics.Panels 15 and 16 form a two-panel scene. Chéron’s tomb is at bottom, parallel to the picture plane, decorated with cinqfoils. Two deacons wearing dalmatics stand at the head and foot of the tomb, holding a cloth on which is Chéron's decapitated body, its hands crossed on its chest. Behind the sarcophagus, at right, is a cleric holding a processional cross and a situla (bucket). At center stands a mitred bishop holding an open book and an aspergillum (to scatter holy water).; The Chéron Window
