In this lecture, Dr. Gao recalled the background of the ‘85 Movement and analyzed the reasons. He reviewed his own experiences and mentioned a large number of art groups, artists, exhibitions, conferences, etc. He also commented on the important historical position and influence of ‘85 Movement in the history of contemporary Chinese art.
