They made a precession of 
 Wagons and boats
Of raccoons and oxen, they all have their votes
For you know that they all
 are entitled to votes
Sledge hammers triangls and 
   carpenters tools
One thousand and eight
 hundred horses and 
    mules

Now was it not kind odd
 in the jokers that these
Now was it not kind in 
 these good simple clowns
To amuse all the chidren
 in both of our towns
To shut up their
 work shops and
  spend all their
    money
To black up their faces
 get tight and be funny
