Description
The William Pitt Student Union at the University of Pittsburgh. The building was constructed in 1898 as the Schenley Hotel. The University of Pittsburgh acquired the building in 1956 and used it as a residence hall. Today it is the center of campus activities, with offices for approximately 300 campus organizations.
