Scope and Content Notes

During the Prohibition Era alcohol for medical, scientific and industrial purposes was strictly regulated but much needed by various laboratories, physicians and idustries. In order to allow the sale of alcohol an institution was required carefully track its dispensation. These reports document the quantities and departments that used alcohol during 1931-1932.
