History
The Grandview United Presbyterian Church was organized on June 30, 1857 as Mount Washington Presbyterian Church. It changed it name to Grandview United Presbyterian Church in 1961.
Scope and Content
This collection contains 20 books of records for the Grandview United Presbyterian Church (formerly known as the Mount Washington Presbyterian Church) for the years 1857-1991. Books 1-6 consist of lists of Pastors, Baptisms, Elders, Deacons, Deaconesses, Marriages, Deaths, Communicants, Trustees, and Suspended Members, 1857-1970. Books 7-19 consist of Congregational, Trustee, and Session Minutes, 1885-1991. Book 20 consists of receipts and expenditures (1902-1908); and books from the Women's Home and Foreign Missionary Society of the Mount Washington Presbyterian Church.
