Scope and Content Notes
The Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church of Glenshaw, Pennsylvania, was founded in 1935 as a mission for the people of Shaler Township. In 1938, the church was granted permanent status and property was purchased on Scott Avenue in Glenshaw, Pennsylvania. The Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church was constructed in 1939 and is currently in operation.
The collection contains a constitution, by-laws, clippings, and a register. The parish register includes a church history and a list of pastors, council and child members. The register also contains information regarding communions, baptisms, confirmations, church members, funerals, and marriages.
