Trinity Lutheran Church originated in 1889 as a preaching station in Pitcairn, Pa. It attained congregational status in 1895-1896 and moved from Pitcairn to Monroeville, Pa., June, 1966.
This collection contains a Church Register, 1895-1985. The register contains a historical sketch; index of names; baptisms, August 10, 1895 - March 31, 1985; Deaths, September 9, 1895 - November 17, 1984; Communicants, November, 1895 - November, 1922; and a brief cronicle (in German) of the founding and early years of the congregation.
