Abstract
The Northern Ireland Public Records Office Collection contains photocopies of correspondence between Northern Irish emigrants living in Pittsburgh and relatives still in Northern Ireland, through the years 1795-1897, with the bulk of the correspondence between 1840s-1870s. The letters are of varying subjects including family life in Pittsburgh; announcements of births and deaths; financial and employment opportunities; and travels around Pennsylvania and Ohio.
