Humphrey Dillon was an innkeeper in Bedford, Pa. during the first half of the 19th century. His daughter Anna Maria married Nathaniel Plummer Fetterman of Beaver, Pa.
This collection contains thirteen documents arranged in four sections by document type. Personal letters are written to Dillon family members and concern family matters. Humphrey Dillon's diary briefly describes his immigration to the United States and also gives some genealogical information. A legal document appoints a lawyer to help N.P. Fetterman and his wife Anna Maria settle Humphrey Dillon's estate. Miscellaneous items include notes about family genealogy and empty letter envelopes.
