Description
The north portal between the narthex and the nave contains New Testament scenes which occurred after the Resurrection of Christ. The lower register contains the story of Christ appearing to the pilgrims at Emmaus. The rightmos tscene shows the pilgroms returning from t Emmaus (Luke, xxiv, 33). The pilgrims have halos and are tall and slender. Their heads are broken off. They face to the right. One appears to be carrying a long object (a staff?); Romanesque; Good
