Interior View of the Original Allegheny Observatory and the 13 Inch Refractor (Fitz). On January 31, 1860, the Allegheny Telescope Association Ordered this Telescope from Henry Fitz of New York, and it was Installed in 1861. The Original 13-inch Refractor Telescope still Stands in One of the Smaller of the Three Domes as a Memorial to the Founding Fathers of the Observatory.
