Description
Ed R. discusses the crop work cycle and summer church revivals. He talks about the educational differences between the North and the South Ed R. talks about his various residences and the neighborhoods, mostly Black but occasionally mixed. He joined the New Hope Baptist Church and then Covenant. He joined the Masons. He speaks about his lack of formal education which sometimes impacted his job opportunities but was passionate about self-education. He was proud of the better education his family had.
