Group portrait of 13 African American nurses and four African American hospital workers at the emergency Influenza hospital on Superior Street in Duquesne, Pa. during the epidemic in 1918. These hospital workers played an incredibly critical role in the community's fight against influenza. Photographs may include images of: Julia Craig, Mrs. A. H. Buton, Mrs. Spencer Bell, Sadie Bond, Ethel Cole, and Etta Stokes.
