• Oshichi, a young girl of a vegetable store, looks into her small hand mirror while her lover Kichizaburō gazes down at her indulgently. They become characters in a Kabuki play Yaoya Oshichi utazaimon 八百屋お七歌祭文, Jōruri play Date no musume koi no higashiko 伊達娘恋緋鹿子, etc. Based on a true story. Signature: 晩器筆 [Banki hitsu].
