The beginning of the sentences written on the left of the print read "Once upon a time, Chiyonōhime went to fetch water on the night of full moon, and the bottom of the tub passed through and the moon could be seen from it. She wrote a song and became enlightened..." Signature: 五精画 [Gosei ga], 五精述 [Gosei jutsu].
