Description
A young boy stands beside the rightmost door at the entry to Willows Pool. The walls between the arches for the doorways advertise Foremost Ice Cream, which could be purchased there. On June 15, 1926, the Pool opened for swimming. In 1970, the Willows Pool closed, despite protestation from Oakmonters. The Willows had a park, dock, swimming pool, and ballroom, making it a hot spot for fun for multiple generations of Oakmonters.
