History

Local 430 of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America was chartered on January 3, 1900, and represented workers in Wilkinsburg, Pa. Local 165 was a founding member of a western Pennsylvania carpenters district council and represents carpenters in the Pittsburgh area.
