The United Electrical, Radio, and Machine Workers of America (UE) Research Department is responsible for collecting information on a variety of topics concerning the union. This series contains correspondence, reports, and news clippings regarding a variety of labor issues, including unemployment, monopolies, and automation. Files on political action activities of labor organizations during the 1950s and 1960s are also present.
