Description
Schenley Quad at the University of Pittsburgh. Schenley Quad contains eight of the University's 11 residence halls: Holland, Brackenridge, Bruce, McCormick, Amos, and the three Litchfield Towers. Bruce Hall is in the foreground. William Pitt Student Union can be seen on the right. The buildings in Schenley Quad used to be the Schenley Apartments—a residence for well-to-do Pittsburghers. Built in 1924, these apartments became part of the University in 1956.
