Description
Oakland taken from above Forbes Avenue. The Cathedral of Learning is seen closest to the front with the Stephen Foster Memorial standing on the immediate left of the Cathedral. Hillman Library and David Lawrence Hall are seen on the left of the photo, and across the street stands the Litchfield Towers and the William Pitt Union. Pitt Stadium can be seen in the background of the photo, with downtown Pittsburgh located even further back, and the U.S. Steel building being the most easily seen.
