Description
View of Sixth Street from Penn Avenue towards the Allegheny River in downtown Pittsburgh. On the right is the Lyceum Theater at 133 Sixth Street and across the street is Truby’s, a popular saloon, at 134 Sixth Street. The policeman standing to the left of the streetcart is wearing the traditional English round “Bobby” helmet. Traffic is a mixture of automobiles and horse-drawn wagons.
