The caption reads: " Stalin, "We've signed your pact, Ribbentrop. Kiss our hand and take the pact, and as for what we'll do later, we'll think about it some more." In Moscow, on 23 August, 1939, the foreign ministers of Germany and the Soviet Union, Joachim von Ribbentrop (on the left) and V. M. Molotov (on the right) signed the Non-Aggression Pact.
