View of University of Pittsburgh running back Tony "TD" Dorsett in action. Dorsett, a Heisman candidate during all four years of his college football career, won the trophy his senior year (1976). He was a three-time first-team All-American (1973, 1975, 1976) and a second-team All-American in 1974. Dorsett was the no. 2 pick in the 1977 NFL draft. His 11-year professional career included playing for the Dallas Cowboys and later the Denver Broncos and he was a four-time Pro-Bowl selection (1978, 1981, 1982, 1983).
