Gothic; Apollinare and Choirs of Angels Window Delaporte no. 10, Deremble-Manhes no. 36Panel 03: Grisaille of Theirry, Cyr and Julitte (Upper right)The child Cyr (Quiricus) and his mother Julitte were martyred under Diocletian. The child stands at left, holding a palm leaf to show his martyrdom, though Delaporte says that since the 1903 restoration he carries a book as well. He holds the hand of his mother, Julitte, who stands at right, also carrying a book. Both have halos The head and upper body of Cyr and the mantle of Julitte are restored.Panel 05: Grisaille of Canon Thierry: Maur and Radigone (upper right)At left is a male saint (haloed) with a tonsure, wearing the habit of a religious and carrying a crosier. At right is a female saint (haloed) wearing a habit and carrying a crosier.The male saint is Maure (d 584) who was a disciple and supporter of St. Benedict. The female saint is probably Radegonde, founder of the nunnery of Sainte-Croix at Poitiers. Because of the inscription (see below), she has been identified with St Aldegonde of Maubeuge, but this is unlikely.Panel 06: Grisaille of Canon Thierry- Inscription and decorativeThe upper part of this panel contains the inscription S.MOR S.
