Description
The Heinz Chapel and Cathedral of Learning at Christmas time. The two buildings are a great example of gothic architecture located in Oakland side by side. The Cathedral of Learning stands 42 stories high, and was completed in 1937. The Heinz Memorial Chapel was dedicated in 1938 and was a gift from Howard Heinz and his sons.
