Description
The men in this dinner are enlisted men in gas engine and auto mechanics. The service men shown in this photo have been in the service for approximately five weeks. The Mess Hall they are sitting in could sit about 2,000 men. Along with the Mess Hall there were seven barracks built that could house 1,000. An administrative building and a Y.M.C.A. Hospitality House were also built on the hill above O'Hara Street.
