Description
Interior view one of the seven army barracks built at the University of Pittsburgh during World War I. The men in the photo reported for duty the day this picture was taken. One of seven, this barracks could be home to as many as 1,000 men, all of whom were being trained in gas and engine repair to support the "Liberty Truck" for the war effort.
