Wheel from car 9468. Enclosure accompanying the negative states, "This wheel is one of four cast March 11, 1896, which have been in continuous service over eight years under P.&L.E. car 9468 equipped with Hartman Ball Bearing Centre and Side Plates. Approximate mileage 64,000 miles. Present indications are the mileage will exceed 100,000 before wheels are removed for worn tread."
