Description
Flooding on the Heth's Run Access Road in the Heth's Run Valley (now the site of the parking lot for the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium), looking south. The flooding was caused by a water main break. The Heth's Run Bridge and area are named for Henry Heth (also spelled Haight) whose estate, Heth's Delight, spanned 400 acres near East Liberty. Heth was a Revolutionary War hero known for his efforts protecting Fort Pitt.
