American eagles clasp globes at the top of each column. The columns were made by sculptor Frank Vittor. The main dedication statement reads: "To commemorate the deeds of valor and sacrifice of those who contributed to the successful termination of the World War and to the abiding hope of an enduring peace this boulevard is dedicated."
