Description
Takayama Kengyō was killed by Naoshima Tairyō Naoshige 直島大領直繁 while they were playing a game of go. Kengyō's cat turned into Naoshige's wife and suffered him every ight. Scene from a Kabuki play Hanano no saga nekomatazōshi 花埜嵯峨猫魔稿. Signature: 豊国画 [Toyokuni ga]. Publisher: 恵比寿屋庄七 [Ebisuya Shoshichi].
