Description
Against a yellow background a group of courtesans in conversation. Title and inscriptions are cut off on the top. The technique of this woodblock print that does not use flashy colors such as crimson is called benigirai 紅嫌い and became popular for about 20 years in the 19th century. Sibnagutre: 春潮画 [Shuncho ga].
