A sparkling display of Fourth of July type pyrotechnics heralds the beginning of another "heat" of steel from the new OSM Shop at U. S. Steel's Duquesne Works. This exciting scene occures when oxygen first reacts with the impurities in the molten iron and steel scrap charged into the furnace.
