Description
Several contestants for the Miss Pittsburgh 1926 Beauty Pageant concentrate on walking gracefully across the runway that traversed the Willows Pool. The Willows originally started out as a hopping night club that featured all the big name bands of the day and fine dining. The swimming pool would not open until 1926. Oakmonters enjoyed dining, boating and partying at the Willows despite prohibition of the 1920s.
