Description
The young ladies currently strolling across the boards spanning the Willows Pool in Oakmont all hope to be the Miss Pittsburgh for the year 1926. They possess numbers from 81 to somewhere in the nineties. The photographer apparently liked the look of Number 84. The Willows originally started out as a hopping night club that featured all the big name bands of the day and fine dining. The swimming pool would not open until 1926. Oakmonters enjoyed dining, boating and partying at the Willows despite prohibition of the 1920s.
