Description
Miss Pittsburgh, Jr. walks the plank that spans the Willows Pool. As she does so, she cannot resist fiddling with the dangling parts of her costume. Her expression is joyful, as are those of the women in the pool watching her progress. A man walks behind her. The Willows originally started out as a hopping night club that featured all the big name bands of the day and fine dining. The swimming pool would not open until 1926. Oakmonters enjoyed dining, boating and partying at the Willows despite prohibition of the 1920s.
